Speaking

Misty Cramer is an award-winning and best-selling author and an authentic national speaker, who brings energy and encouragement to her audiences.  Her ten years of teaching experience, combined with 30 years of ministry within the church and Youth for Christ, has provided her with many opportunities to share the messages God has laid on her heart.  Her past venues include speaking at women, children, and youth events at Bay Shore Camp, MOPS, Old Engine and Tractor Show, Youth for Christ events, and many women, family, and marriage (with her husband, Todd) retreats throughout the country.  Whether speaking to a group of ten at a luncheon, a group of hundreds at a large retreat, or anywhere in between, Misty would love the opportunity to speak at your next event.  She is happy to explore topics with you that would fit your group, or speak on a topic and theme you already have chosen for your event.  Misty is willing to negotiate a speaking fee that will fit the budget of your group.

Women's Retreats & Events:

Misty's most requested topics include Created on Purpose and for a Purpose, Freedom through Forgiveness, and The Every Day God within Everyday Moments.  She authentically weaves her story with God's story, as she shares about the redeeming power of restoration and hope Jesus offers to each of us. Participants will come away inspired, encouraged, and with the knowing they serve a powerful God who will use their own story to impact their families and friends.

Marriage Mentoring & Seminars:

Todd and Misty have been mentoring couples for decades and are graduates of JAM Savage Ministries Marriage Mentoring Course. Through this course, they have been trained to walk alongside couples, mentoring them in the marriage journey, while helping them implement tools thst will have a lasting impact on their marriages. After almost 40 years of marriage, they have a great deal of personal experience to draw upon. Nothing is wasted within their marriage, as they honestly and genuinely share openly about their own marriage. They believe if their experiences can help to strengthen someone else's marriage...it's worth sharing.

Laughs. Tears. Recommitments. They're all part of what you can expect when Todd and Misty speak at your Marriage Seminar. They will have you laughing, while also challenging you, and perhaps even making you tear up a bit as they speak truth into your marriage. Whether you have a topic for them, or would like them to speak on one of the many they have in their repertoire, couples will leave their sessions feeling encouraged, refreshed, and committed. Some of their most popular topics have been love and respect, the love languages, and sexual intimacy in marriage. They hit these topics with some humor, then put the focus on Christ, while sharing how to keep Him in the center of the relationship.  Todd and Misty are also both staff at Bluewater Thumb Youth for Christ, where they lead the Team as Executive Director and Ministry Director.  Their passion to mentor and train their work family is among one of their greatest blessings.

Marriage topics can be presented by Misty or by Todd and Misty together.

Youth Camps:

Through Misty’s years of ministering to teens on a daily basis, she has extensive experience in speaking to youth.  Whether speaking as a keynote at a youth retreat doing a devotion at a shorter event, Misty speaks from her heart, sharing her own experiences, while teaching the truths from God’s Word.  Self-worth, peer pressure, sex, alcohol and drug abuse, identity in Christ, student leadership techniques, are a few of the many topics she is familiar with sharing with groups.  She has a heart to share Jesus with teens, see them come into a new or stronger relationship with Him, and teach them how to then reach their peers with the message of Jesus. 

Family and Children's Speaking:

Misty's degree in Elementary Education, as well as her former position as a Children's Ministry Director has given her the training and experience to provide programming and speaking for younger children, in addition to older youth. She is a storyteller at heart, with a drama background, providing a great blend of biblical teaching that will keep children on the edges of their seats. She also enjoys presenting at family events, where she blends hands on activities within her message, to keep all ages engaged and enjoying their time together.  A typical family event could include table activities, small group discussions, and/or large group games.  All ages will be encouraged through the bible message, while also have a great time together.

 Bluewater Thumb Youth for Christ:

Misty has worked for Bluewater Thumb Youth for Christ for ten years.  She has recently transitioned from her position as a Campus Life Director, to her new position of Ministry Director. Instead of working as much in direct student ministry, she is now overseeing the staff at BTYFC, building a team atmosphere and helping to encourage and equip them with the ministry they are doing with students.
